What actually shows up on the screen when you send an SPL token through a hardware wallet?
Ledger Wallet 4.24.0 for desktop arrived on GitHub on October 14 2026. The release changes the hardware wallet screen so it now names the destination for an SPL token transfer on Solana. It also adds options in the Pay tab that let users filter balances by each stablecoin.
Destination on the device screen
The release notes state that the hardware wallet screen now shows the recipient during an SPL token transfer. Holders see the recipient token account, the wallet address, and the input type listed in the transfer estimate. That gives a clearer view of where the tokens are headed before the device signs.
If the recipient token account holds a different token than expected, the app stops the transfer and shows an error. This check happens before confirmation so the holder avoids sending to an incompatible account.
Matching screens for confirmation
The app confirmation screen now lines up with every row the device itself displays. A holder can review the same details on both the desktop view and the hardware screen without guessing what the device will ask next.
Pay tab balance filters
Inside the Pay tab each stablecoin appears as its own balance filter option. A user can select a single stablecoin view instead of scanning a mixed list. The filter keeps the focus on one asset at a time when preparing a payment.
What a holder gets in practice
Someone running Ledger Wallet 4.24.0 on desktop now receives named destination details for SPL transfers and separate stablecoin filters in Pay. The changes sit in the release notes posted on the GitHub page for the 4.24.0 desktop build. The update keeps the existing confirmation flow while adding those two visible pieces.
The notes confirm the desktop app is developed by Ledger and that the 4.24.0 notes live on the same GitHub release page. No other implementation details appear in the posted notes.
